Berkshire is now building distribution warehouses across the country and rapidly adding Product SKUs to their eCommerce Catalog. Product SKUs will be in the millions and strong inventory levels will make one-day and two-day shipping possible in early 2020.
Chas D West joined the IDA (Industrial Distribution Association) in 1998.
Later, in 2004, the IDA and ISA (Industrial Supply Association) merged. This membership provides a meaningful connection to hundreds of supplier decision makers across the country.
Chas D West joined NetPlus Alliance in 2003. This association has provided an opportunity to form meaningful relationships with suppliers.
HISTORY
Charles D West began supplying Industrial and General Merchandise products in the Pacific Northwest in 1932. Lumber and shake mills were the company’s main customers until the late 1960’s.
The company began exclusively supplying the military in the 1970’s beginning with Fort Lewis Army Base, McChord AFB, Naval Air Station Whidbey. PSNS, Bangor Trident Base, Naval Base San Diego, and Guam Naval Base were added in 1999.
